Month Long tournaments start on the 1st of the Month and conclude on the final day of the Month. August is Kahawai Month. Measure only tournament. Prizes for Longest and Average Length Kahawai.
In the open and junior section. There is also a prize for a mystery length snapper each month for both open and junior sections. Angler must use Official Whakatane Sportfishing Club Measure board and send in photo of fish to tournaments@wsfc.co.nz – 2 photos per species per angler per week.
